in the last weekJoined the Seven Gym in Ibiza six months ago and paid for a full year upfront. It was a very expensive membership. I started hearing things that the gym was in trouble and may close. When I looked at the company that billed me for the membership (paid for at the Seven Gym in Ibiza in the card machine, it appeared to be for a Real Estate company in Palma with a very small turnover (a shell company). Anyway, the gym was in trouble and closed two weeks ago - and I requested a refund of my membership, Seven responded by saying that the gym has moved to a new location, a very badly equipped villa in Ibiza, and miles away from the original gym. This villa has hardly any gym equipment, no lockers and in no way resembles the original gym, and I told them this was unacceptable, Since then Seven has ignored my further requests for a refund - It appears they continued to sell the memberships through this shell company even though they knew the gym was in serious trouble and hundreds of members have had their money taken - some signing up only days before the closure. Really poor show.
