Ice bath not wokring and they say I can come again complimentary. And then they Dont leave me. I don't recommend this place!

As a loyal customer of pause I am very disappointed by the experience that I had. I visited the salon for manicure and gel French. I waited over an hour, which I don’t mind, but I was told there were 10 people ahead of me and that wasn’t the case. I started with a technician who seemed rushed and wouldn’t do what I asked. I requested a cut, but she only filed, and after approving the shape, she began cutting the nails from the sides, making them look unpresentable. When I pointed this out, she switched with another technician to finish, but she cut my cuticles too much and it started bleeding. When we were about to start the gel French, I showed the same French that I did in pause couple of months ago which was thin French, she didn’t like that I was so specific about my request and that it may take her longer to finish. So she claimed it wasn’t French but nail art, insisted it was thicker, and did two samples one I asked for and another labeled as “French.” There was no meaningful difference besides thickness, which felt like she was not respecting my request. I asked her to stop and spoke with the reception, showing the pictures and asking for clarification. I also attempted to reach out via Instagram but did not receive a response. Overall, extremely disappointing experience with poor communication, inconsistent service, and damage to my nails.

There's one named Josephine, honestly, her attitude is awful, she's grumpy and doesn't seem to want to work, and even her work is terrible. It's a shame she works at this salon; I wouldn't recommend anyone get their hair done there. Janice, on the other hand, has a classy attitude and knows how to deal with customers. Two stars because of the Filipina staff.
