The Nail Spa – DIFC

I called the salon at 10 AM to book an appointment for 4 PM that same day. Unfortunately, I arrived around 15 minutes late due to traffic and because it was my first time visiting the salon and finding the location. When I arrived and explained the nail service and design I wanted, the receptionist immediately told me that because I was 15 minutes late, they would no longer do the French design and could only offer me a plain, single color manicure. I completely understand that I was late, and I take responsibility for that. However, what disappointed me was the way the situation was handled. There was absolutely no attempt to find a solution …. no offer to wait for an available slot, no suggestion to reschedule, no alternative appointment, and no effort whatsoever to accommodate me. When I said that I specifically wanted the French design and didn’t want a plain color, I was simply told they couldn’t provide the service. So I said, “Okay, then cancel my appointment,” and left. What stood out to me most was the complete lack of customer service. The receptionist didn’t try to have a conversation, offer any solution, or make any effort to retain me as a first-time customer. It genuinely felt like whether I stayed or left made absolutely no difference to them. I understand salons have schedules to maintain, but good customer service is also about how you handle situations when things don’t go exactly as planned. Unfortunately, my first experience here made me feel completely unwelcome and that my business simply wasn’t valued. I won’t be returning.

I’ve been visiting The Nail Spa (TNS) in DIFC for over 6 years. Recently, I’ve started using a new nail technician at the same branch as my previous technician left. I didn’t think it was possible to find somebody who was such a perfectionist but Puja more than surpassed my expectations! Her attention to detail is second to none and she got everything perfect from my first appointment with her. Not only did she do a fantastic job of my nails but she was really friendly and lovely to chat too. I’ve found my new manicurist for sure, thank you Puja!

Love this salon so much! Everyone is amazing. I personally love Puja’s work at the DIFC branch, she always does the cleanest most perfect manicure. She’s amazinggg at French tips and many more! Highly recommend!
