Unacceptable operational inefficiencies and complete failure in care continuity. Online booking and the patient app are non-functional, forcing endless calls for appointments and lab results. Insurance pre-authorizations for routine bloods take days. Most critically, the clinic refuses to administratively issue a repeat prescription for ongoing systemic Isotretinoin despite clear blood test results, delaying treatment until September 9th and risking a dangerous gap in therapy. Urgent resolution is required.

The worst experience i have ever had !

Unfortunately, my first experience with Mediclinic Dubai Mall will also be my last. I visited the clinic to arrange a number of blood tests. It took approximately 24 hours for the pre-approval request to be submitted to my insurance. Having lived in Dubai for 15 years and used different healthcare providers over the years, I had personally never experienced such a delay for the submission of an insurance pre-approval request. When my insurance subsequently approved only part of the requested tests, I did not receive clear information from the clinic regarding which tests had been approved, which had not, and what I would need to pay out of pocket. I called the clinic three times between approximately 12pm and 6pm to obtain clarification. During the third call, I was eventually provided with information regarding the expected cost. However, when I arrived at the clinic the following morning, the amount I was asked to pay was different from the information I had received over the phone. In addition, when arranging payment for the tests that were not covered by insurance, I discovered that several of the requested tests had not initially been included, creating further confusion. After almost 48 hours of back-and-forth, I decided to cancel all the remaining tests and have them done elsewhere. My main concern throughout this experience was the lack of clear and consistent communication and coordination. I also find it unfortunate that responses to online reviews appear to be handled very promptly, while obtaining accurate information as a patient proved much more difficult in my experience. This was my first visit to Mediclinic Dubai Mall and, based on this experience, I have decided that it will be my last.
