I had a very disappointing experience with German Clinic Aesthetic at The Village Mall, Jumeirah 1, Dubai. On April 9, 2026, I visited the clinic for a rhinoplasty consultation. After meeting with a specific doctor, I agreed to proceed with the surgery, selected a specific date, and made full payment for the procedure in advance. Unfortunately, after the payment was made, the clinic never confirmed my surgery date. Later, both the surgery date and the doctor were changed without my knowledge or consent. When I came for my pre-operative blood tests, the administrator unexpectedly informed me that I needed to attend an additional consultation with another doctor, supposedly due to Dubai Municipality requirements. Only later did I find out that the doctor I had originally chosen had already left the clinic, and nobody informed me about this in advance. My decision to proceed with the surgery was based specifically on having it performed by that particular doctor, so this situation was completely unacceptable to me. Because of these unexpected changes and the lack of transparency, I decided to cancel the procedure and requested a full refund. The clinic refused to provide an immediate refund and informed me that my request would take two weeks to review. They also stated that they intended to deduct AED 6,000 for blood tests and booking fees, despite the fact that the surgery was never performed. I find this extremely unprofessional and unfair. The clinic changed essential terms of the agreement without my consent, failed to communicate honestly, did not provide the main service, and is now attempting to keep a significant amount of money. I strongly advise others to be very careful before making any payments here. P.S. To this day, I have still not received either my refund or any proper update from the clinic. The consultation was with a doctor who was in Dubai, but then you informed me that the doctor no longer works at your clinic and required me to see another doctor. You did not notify me that my surgery would take place on a different day and with a different doctor.

I did my rhinoplasty with Dr. Mikaniki, and it has been only one month since the surgery, but I already like my results. She explained everything clearly and made me feel confident in her care. I was supposed to have nose surgery with the Iranian doctor, and she asked me for a deposit. I clearly stated that I had very serious iron problems and that if I couldn't have the surgery, my deposit would be returned. She told me that the doctor had said there was no problem with my iron levels after consulting my doctor in Switzerland. I asked her if I could still have the surgery, and she told me I wasn't allowed. So I asked the hospital to return my deposit, but they refused because it was an offer and they had already booked me for the surgery. However, the surgery date hadn't been set, and I hadn't even had the tests done before the operation, and they still don't want to give me my money back. So, I'm going to the police to file a complaint and get my money back. I think that if the doctor is a reputable professional, there shouldn't be a problem with the refund, especially since she didn't mention the policy that if I make a deposit, I won't get my deposit back if there's a problem.
