Unsafe and Unprofessional At-Home IV Experience My sister recently booked an at-home IV drip service, and unfortunately, it was an extremely distressing experience. The nurse was highly inconsiderate and lacked basic empathy and professionalism. He appeared rushed due to another appointment and did not take the necessary time to provide care safely. We had two IV infusions (NAD + 1 more) and one vitamin D injection scheduled, so it was understood that the process would take some time. Despite this, he administered the IV fluids at an excessively fast rate, which posed a clear health risk. The patient began experiencing adverse reactions, including sharp, full-body pains, and informed the nurse immediately. I also repeatedly raised concerns and requested that the infusion be slowed down. These concerns were completely disregarded. I have never encountered such a stubborn and negligent healthcare professional. The experience was genuinely frightening, and I would not recommend this nurse. His conduct and licensing should be reviewed to ensure patient safety.
