in the last week⚠️ UPDATE AFTER FORMAL COMPLAINT RESPONSE ⚠️ I previously left a detailed review about my experience at this clinic. I want to update it following the clinic’s formal response to my complaint — because their response made everything worse. To summarise what happened: my full-body laser session on 15 May was never completed. The machine ran out of gas mid-session and the clinic was closing — I was the last appointment of the day. I returned on 5 June to finish the remaining areas and was told I had to pay again. I paid AED 260 for areas I had already paid for, simply because their equipment failed and their time management meant my session could not be finished. The receptionist on duty was one of the most arrogant and unprofessional people I have encountered in a customer-facing role. From the moment I raised my concern, she made it personal. Her tone was condescending, her attitude dismissive, and she stared at me with open arrogance throughout. She repeated the same statements on loop with no intention of helping, and at one point told me “anyone would think this way” — implying the problem was my understanding, not her failure to communicate clearly. When I asked what my options were, she told me to send an email and wait. When I pushed further, she said “I don’t know, I can’t help you” — and made no effort to find someone who could. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told no one has access to the manager and his name could not be provided. Shortly after, she disappeared to the back and returned claiming she had spoken to him and he agreed with her — a conversation I was not present for, cannot verify, and have no proof of. She then gave me a colleague’s name when I asked for hers and refused to identify herself. I filed a formal complaint. Their response was to hide behind their 10-day policy — without once acknowledging that the session was left incomplete because of their own equipment failure and clinic closing time. They did not address the receptionist’s conduct. Not a single word. They simply closed the matter, decided I was wrong, and moved on. This is a clinic that will cover for their staff no matter what occurred. Instead of taking accountability for an incomplete session caused by their own failures, they made me pay for it — twice — and then backed their staff entirely when I complained. The message from management is clear: their staff can treat you however they like, and you will be the one who is wrong. We are in a country with clear consumer protection laws and regulations, and this will not simply pass. I am escalating this to Dubai Municipality and the relevant consumer protection authorities. No patient should be charged twice for a service that was never completed, treated with this level of disrespect, and then have management cover it up with a dismissive policy response. The treatments themselves are good and the technician I work with is excellent. But be warned — if anything goes wrong, you will be met with arrogance, deflection, and a management team that protects its staff over its patients. Document everything from the moment you walk in
