Snö Clinics

I had an appointment at Snow Clinic at 4:30 PM. Due to heavy traffic, I was running about 15 minutes late. While I was on my way, the receptionist called me, and I explained that I was only 5–6 minutes away. I was told that they would wait for me. After driving all the way to the clinic, I arrived and waited in the reception area for about 5–10 minutes before seeing the doctor. When the doctor came in, he immediately told me that he would not be able to treat me because the procedure required one hour and I had arrived late. I completely understand that clinics need to stay on schedule, but what disappointed me was the way the situation was handled. If the clinic knew they would not be able to see me, I wish they had told me when I spoke with the receptionist on the phone, rather than assuring me they would wait. The doctor’s attitude felt rude and dismissive. I felt like I was being scolded rather than treated as a patient. Since I finish work in the late afternoon, occasional traffic delays are sometimes unavoidable, and a more understanding approach would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed and I’m not going back to this clinic for sure.

Regarding my appointment scheduled for today, March 29, 2026, at Snow Clinic – Al Nahyan Camp Branch: I was only about 20 minutes late due to road closures caused by flooding from the heavy rains of the past few days, a situation beyond my control. During this delay, I tried contacting the clinic several times, but none of my calls were answered. I also received a call from the clinic that only rang once, without any opportunity to speak. Upon arriving at the clinic, I was surprised to find it completely empty of patients, both in the reception area and the examination rooms. I had been informed beforehand that my appointment was canceled due to overcrowding, which did not align with what I witnessed upon arrival. Therefore, I believe this reflects a weakness in appointment scheduling and communication with patients, as well as a lack of consideration for the exceptional circumstances the area is experiencing. This situation could have been handled with greater flexibility and professionalism.
