Not Only Nails

I am deeply disappointed by the way I was treated at this salon, and I feel it is important to share my experience to warn others. I contacted the salon owner directly in advance and clearly agreed on a collaboration: the salon would be featured in my “Must-Do Treatments Before the Holidays” content in exchange for nail services for myself and my mother. This agreement is documented in writing on WhatsApp and was acknowledged by the owner. After completing the service, the receptionist suddenly demanded payment. I calmly explained that there was an agreed collaboration with the owner. At that point, the situation escalated in a shocking and unacceptable way. The receptionist became extremely rude and aggressive, questioned who I am, demanded to know how many followers I have, dismissed my social media presence (over 700,000 followers across platforms), and stated they “only work with influencers over 2 million followers.” This was never mentioned before the service and is irrelevant once an agreement has already been made. What was most disturbing is that: • The receptionist raised his voice at me • I was threatened with police if I did not pay immediately • The owner joined in, raising her voice publicly, saying things like “If you don’t have money, just say so” • This happened in front of other clients and my mother, causing extreme embarrassment and emotional distress At no point was this handled privately, professionally, or respectfully. Threatening a client with police over an internal miscommunication—especially when the agreement was made directly with the owner—is completely unacceptable. I have never experienced such disrespect, intimidation, and lack of professionalism from a business. Regardless of collaborations, followers, or misunderstandings, no client should ever be spoken to this way. I would strongly caution anyone considering this salon, particularly influencers or clients expecting professional conduct.
