I had very high expectations for Lucia Clinic given its reputation and the consultation fee of over 500 AED, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I spent almost an hour at the clinic, yet most of that time was wasted waiting for the doctor and filling out endless forms. When the doctor Jelena finally arrived late, the actual consultation lasted no more than 10 minutes. I came seeking help for persistent acne and recurrent dermatitis. Without performing any investigations or attempting to identify the underlying cause, I was simply told that “acne cannot be treated.” The only recommendations I received were cosmetic procedures such as Hydrafacial and BBL. For my dermatitis, I was prescribed a topical steroid and instructed to use it for three weeks. While it temporarily suppressed the symptoms, the dermatitis returned even worse after I stopped using it. There was no discussion about why it was happening, no long-term treatment plan, and no effort to address the root cause. For a premium clinic charging premium prices, I expected evidence-based medicine, a thorough assessment, and genuine diagnostic work—not a diagnosis made within minutes by visual inspection alone, followed by recommendations for expensive cosmetic treatments. I cannot recommend Lucia Clinic to anyone looking for answers or proper medical care for chronic skin conditions. If you’re searching for a dermatologist who investigates the cause of your skin problems rather than simply selling overpriced aesthetic procedures, I would look elsewhere.
