2 weeks agoI had a wonderful experience at Du Monde Ladies Beauty Saloon. I got a facial and pedicure done by Kanchan, and she was absolutely amazing! Both services were excellent — the pedicure was super, and her professionalism is truly high-end. She’s one of the best beauticians I’ve met so far — very skilled, attentive, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout. My skin felt refreshed and glowing afterward. I’m reducing two stars because of a pricing issue. I was told a specific price over the phone for several services, and the total at the salon matched that. However, when I mentioned the 15% discount they offer on their website for first-time customers, the management applied the discount but then added 5% VAT, which apparently hadn’t been mentioned before. The fact that VAT was only brought up after I asked about the discount made it feel like it was added just to offset the promised 15%. Most salons I’ve visited clearly state final prices including tax, so this came across as a bit misleading. Overall, Kanchan’s service was exceptional, and I’d definitely return for her treatments. I just hope the management improves transparency with their pricing.
