Matryoshka Russian Beauty Salon – Nails, Lashes & Brows – DIFC, Dubai

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and unfortunately cannot recommend it. I came in with existing hard gel/extensions and a properly built nail shape. After the appointment, several nails were visibly pointing downward from the side profile, and the overall architecture looked incorrect and unbalanced. I am attaching photos taken immediately after the service so that the result can be judged objectively. The filing process was also quite painful, especially in areas where my natural nail had already grown out. I was concerned that too much pressure and filing were being applied. Communication throughout the appointment was very limited. I was told only that “base” and “gel” were being used, without any proper explanation of what type of material it was, why it was chosen for my nails, or what alternatives were available. What disappointed me even more was the way the complaint was handled afterwards. After I sent photos and explained the issue, the salon first confirmed in writing that they were ready to refund the service and asked me to send my bank details. I did so. Later, however, they changed the conditions and said I would need to return to the salon, remove the coating, and receive the refund in cash. I do not consider this a reasonable solution. I did not arrive with bare natural nails; I arrived with an existing hard gel structure and extensions. Removing the current product would not restore my nails to their original condition and would mean further filing after an already painful appointment. The salon also suggested that I should have told the technician during the service what thickness and shape I wanted. My complaint was not about personal preference for thicker or thinner nails. It was about the technical result: the nails visibly point downward, the structure was not properly corrected, and the application looks uneven in some areas. The most disappointing part is that the salon initially agreed to refund the service, requested my bank details, and then introduced new conditions afterwards. Update: It has now been several days since the salon stopped responding to my messages. I have followed up regarding the refund more than once, but I have received no reply, no confirmation of payment, and no further information. I am attaching photos so future clients can judge the result for themselves. If the salon eventually completes the refund they originally confirmed, I will update this review to reflect that.

Испортили мне ногти 🥺 Очень противоречивые впечатления от салона- искала специально русский салон, так как до этого имела в дубаи негативный опыт - мне сточили пластину ногтевую Поэтому забронинировалв заранее, подтвердиланакануне. По прибытию выяснилось - ОНИ ЗАБЫЛИ ЗАПИСАТЬ меня 🤯 В качестве компенсации предложили массаж - это был приятный комплимент и массаж был отличным 👍-его рекомендую А вот маникюр - мне не просто сточили пластину, сточили ДО КОЖИ мастера хоть и русскоговорящие- но это не русская школа маникюра. Девочки из Туркмении -мне попалась АБСОЛЮТНО ПРОФНЕПРИГОДНА. Такое ощущение что взяли человека с улицы и она учится на клиентах Сказать , что я расстроена, ничего не сказать . Я просто была убита Попроси мне заменить мастера - вторая девочка Индира сделала , действительно, хорошо Но три ногтя теперь элементарно болят и восстанавливать придется несколько месяцев . Плюс потратила деньги на такси такую же стоимость-чтобы мне испортили ногти 🥺 В общем рекомендовать категорически не буду -это салон руссская рулетка. Повезет попасть к хорошему мастеру или вам просто сточат ногти под ноль и потратите полгода на восстановление
