Last year, I went to Creative Smile and booked an appointment with Dr. Yim. Since she was busy, I was referred to Dr. Joseph for a cleaning. I was surprised because he didn’t remove the rubber from my braces before cleaning, which is normally required. My second encounter with Dr. Joseph was when my husband had severe wisdom tooth pain. Dr. Joseph attempted the extraction, but the anesthesia wasn’t taking effect on his gums. He seemed unsure of what to do and ended up calling another doctor, who confirmed that the tooth couldn’t be removed because there was swelling and an abscess. Recently, Dr. Yim was busy again and I was referred back to Dr. Joseph. I had just come from a long period,my braces hadn’t been cleaned or adjusted for a long time. Dr. Joseph only changed the rubber color without making any adjustment. I don’t understand the purpose of the visit if no changes were done. I think he needs to review his approach, because patients deserve proper care and satisfaction, especially since we are paying for the service.
