Copacabana Ladies Salon and Spa

The experience at this salon was unprofessional and deceptive from the start. Despite booking a specific hairdresser a month in advance, I arrived to find he was unavailable due to an alleged emergency—without any prior notice. I was left to choose from unfamiliar stylists. The receptionist asked a senior stylist to show me his work on Instagram so I could decide whether to proceed with the balayage. After seeing his portfolio, I agreed to have my hair done by him. However, after applying bleach to a few sections, he disappeared, leaving two other hairdressers, whom I had never agreed to, responsible for the rest of the process. The result was far from what I had asked for, with uneven colors that I only fully noticed once I left the place. My hair was overprocessed, leaving it fragile and weak. At the end of the coloring process, just before drying, few pieces of my hair completely melted and broke off. When I called the senior stylist back to assess the damage, he refused to take any responsibility, blaming my hair’s supposed pre-existing condition. He then instructed someone else to cut off the damaged ends, dismissively stating, “See, now it’s healthy.” What made it even more absurd was that this stylist had no intention of doing the work himself from the very beginning. He knowingly misled me into thinking he would be handling my hair, even going as far as asking, “Do you want to look at my Instagram again?”, fully aware that he would hand the job off to others. On top of that, he attempted to overcharge me for “his” services. When I questioned the price, his response was condescending: “If you like the color, the price doesn’t matter.” The entire environment was hostile, dismissive and unwilling to acknowledge any concerns. It was clear that speaking up would have been pointless. At that stage, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. This entire experience falls entirely on the senior stylist, who misled me from the beginning, not on the other staff he delegated my hair to. This wasn’t just poor service it was pure negligence and dishonesty.

I have done my hair with Omar, (Balayage) very nice and well done work he’s really talented!! Obsessed with the result - exactly what I asked for. Omar nailed it. couldn’t be happier!!! will always come back!

I had really nice experience in Copacabana salon, I went to do balayage. I want to say a big thanks to Bob he is really professional and attentive to understand what I really wanted, he also suggested me the best colour for me. I requested a natural balayage and to make a bit of lighter contrast in my hair and I am really happy about the results. I highly recommend this salon.

One of the best salons ive ever been too and ive been to many in uk and dubai may I say from the start of entering into the salon and even though the staff was busy they was attentive and offered me water and got me to sit down comfortably. Being pregnant and getting a balayage done isnt easy work but Imee made me feel so comfortable and very relaxed im so happy i choose this salon and wouldnt recommend anyone to go anywhere else but here! They are very professional in there work and will not let you leave without being 100% satisfied as they listen to every detail and want to ensure you have the outcome that you desire. Im so happy ive found my go to salon! Wouldnt believe any other negative review as everyone that came in got the most best service possible. Thank you to Yazan for suiting my hair with my personality absolutely amazing job!
