Purchased a waxing voucher From Groupon and gifted it to my wife. Before the service began, my wife showed the voucher to the beautician, who checked it and said it was fine, so the service was started. However, after completing the service, the beautician redeemed the voucher but then falsely told my wife that the voucher was not working. She demanded AED 50 in cash, claiming the voucher was invalid. Believing what she was told, my wife paid the AED 50 in cash. It is confirmed in my Groupon app that the voucher is redeemed As a result, the salon both redeemed the voucher and collected AED 50 in cash for the same service. My wife was clearly misled and taken advantage of. I am extremely disappointed by this dishonest and unfair conduct.

I had a very disappointing experience at Bravo Beauty Parlour. I visited the salon on 19 July to use a Groupon voucher for a waxing service. Before the service started, I showed my voucher to the Indian beautician, who checked it and confirmed that everything was fine. Based on that confirmation, the service was completed. However, after the service, I was told by Indian beautician that my Groupon voucher was "not working" and was asked to pay AED 50 in cash. Trusting the beautician's explanation, I paid the amount. When my husband later checked our Groupon account, we found that the voucher had actually been successfully redeemed on the same day. This left us confused as to why I was told the voucher was invalid and why I was charged an additional AED 50 after the voucher had been accepted. We have raised this matter with Groupon and provided a screenshot showing the voucher was redeemed. I hope this issue is investigated and resolved fairly. I am sharing my experience so that other customers double-check their voucher status and ask for clarification before making any additional payments.
