*I visited the clinic to have a veneer re-bonded, and the work itself was done properly with good quality. However, when I asked about correcting the slight discoloration on one veneer, I was told that the only option was to replace all my veneers for thousands of AED. I initially chose this clinic because ChatGPT’s research suggested it was one of the more conservative and minimally invasive options in Dubai. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that description. The clinic itself is modern and presented as a high-end facility (even though there isn’t valet parking as you would expect at this price point), but I would have preferred advice that truly puts the patient first rather than a recommendation that maximizes cost. This recommendation was especially surprising because two other clinics independently confirmed that all my veneers are in very good condition and that only one of them needs a small conservative repair. A conservative repair simply means adjusting the surface of the existing veneer (polishing, a light-cured resin glaze, or a very thin composite micro-layer) without replacing everything. This minimal and non-invasive option was never mentioned or considered. The clinic only recommended a full replacement instead of a simple, appropriate solution. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was receiving a follow-up message insisting on “completing my treatment for the best outcome for my oral health,” even though I never agreed to any full treatment plan and my situation did not require anything urgent. I would have appreciated more transparency and a recommendation based on my actual needs.
