The Nova Clinic

Won't be returning and cannot recommend. I thought carefully before posting this, but the issues here have piled up too much not to share. I had a consultation with Dr. Timm 2 weeks ago and can't recommend the experience. Scheduling issues from the start: My appointment was originally booked for the 26th July, then I was asked to reschedule to a few days prior as the Doctor was traveling and no longer available on the 26th. I had to move my consultation to a month later because the doctor was away. I was flexible and agreed. That rescheduled appointment was then pushed again just days beforehand, this time because the doctor would be in surgery. When the appointment finally happened, it started 30–40 minutes late: for a 3pm slot, with the doctor not yet even in the clinic. I understand delays happen, but the whole process was very messy and the start of a pattern. While this can happen and I didn't think much of it originally, the issues have accumulated. Zero follow up and zero estimate was shared. I was told I'd receive a quote after the visit. Ten days later, I received nothing. No quote, no follow-up, no communication at all. It's clear my enquiry simply wasn't a priority. During the consultation itself, I didn't feel truly listened to. Dr. Timm is personable and engaging, but my concerns and preferences weren't really taken into account, which made me hesitant to open up further. A doctor and patient won't always agree on approach, but active listening should be a given. After posting this review, the clinic messaged me on WhatsApp within an hour of this review going live but framed as "following up on my consultation" rather than addressing the review or my concerns directly. It's disappointing that it took a public review to prompt any response. They offered discounted and free treatments to apologize, but the estimate I received the next day didn't reflect anything discussed with Dr. Timm, nor any of the procedures we'd talked through. Messy and unprofessional. On the plus side, I wasn't charged for the consultation, which I appreciate. As a facility, the clinic itself also feels quite dated and could use a refresh. I'll be seeking treatment elsewhere.

I highly recommend the Nova Clinic. The clinic is lovely and the staff are friendly and professional. I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived and was greeted with a warm smile from the reception team. I had a BBL treatment with the lovely Jodie and was very pleased with the procedure. She has a lovely calm manner, explains everything and is happy to answer any questions. I felt looked after and would confidently recommend the clinic and plan to return for future appointments..

Really happy with the service so far. Had my first coolsculpting treatment at Nova Clinic’s Al Wasl branch, and the consultation was super thorough. We picked the area to target, and just a few days in I’m already seeing a difference, can’t wait to see the full results over the next few weeks.
