3 weeks ago1st time at this clinic. Routine cleaning. I confirmed the price over whatsApp and again with the receptionist when I arrived. Once I sat down, the hygienist (Dr. Gauri) said she wanted to charge more (around 75% more) because it had been a while since my last cleaning. I mentioned that I had not been informed about this. She then got up, left the treatment room, and went to talk with the receptionist about it for a good few minutes. She came back and said she would only work for 20 minutes. It took about 17 minutes, so no complaints there. But having the doctor ask for more payment while I'm lying in the treatment room is not what I'd describe as professional. neither was her casually stepping out and coming back midway through the setup. It makes you wonder how closely hygiene steps are followed here. Not saying I spotted anything unclean, just that the whole thing felt unorganised, the doctor seemed more focused on making more money. The receptionist was nice and friendly, though. Not a bad clinic overall, but having the doctor leave you to argue about the price is not what I would consider a normal thing to expect from a professional doctor.
