Unprofessional Service & Broken Promises I’ve been a loyal client at Dermamed Clinic for over a year, but after today, I will not be returning. Dr. Anwar had previously gave me a special rate, recognizing my ongoing treatment. However, I received a stressful and unprofessional call from Maryam in “customer service,” informing me that they’ve now changed their mind and I’ll need to pay 600 AED — claiming there was no such agreement “last time” keeping in mind that Dr Nisha has promised that I would pay 400 on my next visit. This kind of inconsistency is unacceptable, especially for clients like myself with autoimmune conditions that are aggravated by stress. I trusted this clinic and its word, and I now feel deeply disappointed and misled. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Dermamed gets all agreements in writing, as they seem comfortable reversing promises without warning. ———————————————————— Dear DermaMed Clinic Team, Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that I have always been respectful in my communication with the clinic. During my last visit, I accepted the additional charge without issue after it was explained that it was due to not visiting the clinic in over two months, and I was told that future visits would return to the original pricing. However, during my last call, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. Maryam was unwilling to acknowledge my past communication or the pricing I was consistently charged over the past year. I was not attempting to bypass fees or demand undocumented discounts. I have receipts clearly showing the price I’ve paid for over a year, which changed unexpectedly without prior notice. My intention was never to threaten or be unprofessional—only to voice my concern about the inconsistency and how it was handled. I hope this clarifies my position.

I highly recommend Dr. Lara. She is professional, attentive, and thorough. Each consultation is conducted with great care, and she always takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly. Her conscientious and thoughtful approach makes you feel fully supported and in very good hands. A true expert in her field!
