a week agoI went to this spa because it’s considered reputable, and I trusted them with my eyebrows for a lamination. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I’ve had my brows laminated before and know exactly how the process and results should look. The service took far too long, and most of the time the technician was applying a hard, sticky glue to slick my brow hairs into place before using the chemicals. When I questioned this, she confirmed it was intentional — which is completely counterproductive, as it creates a barrier and defeats the purpose of lamination. The final result was a mess. My brows were still curly, sticking up in every direction, and somehow looked even bushier than before. It was very obvious the lamination failed. And to this day, no amount of gel can make my eyebrows more manageable. I raised this immediately and even called again after leaving because I couldn’t accept the result and felt scammed. Instead of taking responsibility, I was dismissed and gaslit, with staff saying the technician denied ever using glue and that she thought my brows “looked good.” Of course she would defend her own work — that doesn’t change the visible outcome. For a spa with this reputation, this level of service and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place. Save your time and money!

3 weeks agoThe salon is easy to locate and appointments are generally straightforward to secure. The staff are accommodating, and their manicure and pedicure services are consistently strong and reliable. Very very clean. I trust their hygiene. However, their hair services are mediocre relative to the price point. I have tried blow-drying on multiple occasions with different technicians, and the results were basic and unremarkable. Charging AED 400 for a simple blow-dry and curling does not feel justified. I would go there again definitely, but for mani-padi. Receptionist is kind of giving elite club special treatment to some customers which is understandable given the social settings.
