in the last weekA simple reschedule turned nightmare. Took a laser package with them. Came 15 minutes earlier on the first appointment and was taken in on time without a long wait. The tech was professional, the process was smooth. There was another trainee observing the process which was odd as I hadn’t been asked about it but I let it slide because the service was fairly decent. Let me mention a few things for clarity which I found out much later into my service so you get an unbiased opinion about the clinic. I was not informed of the precautions I would need to take prior to the procedure so I can come prepared. They didn’t communicate the appointment I’m booking is a consultation or the procedure. I was not advised that the price being confirmed for the package over the phone did not include VAT. I confirmed the price 3 times with their rep. Anyways, still not anything I would make a fuss over since the service was to a good extent professional. I confirmed my second session almost a week in advance because I wouldn’t keep anything else for the day of my appointment. They rang me 2 hours prior and I confirmed. However, I had an emergency and called in 10 minutes later to request a reschedule since I cannot make it in time for my appointment. I requested the same appointment for next week. I was met with an audibly disgruntled response from the person I was speaking with. Who mentioned today is one of their peak days and I’m causing them business by rescheduling last minute. The request was initially completely rejected. He asks me to go online make a payment and reschedule. I advised him that I’ve paid the amount in full and I made my appointment over the phone. He throws in a we have a 1 day cancellation/reschedule policy for all procedures (which again I wasn’t advised of during any of my interactions with their team). He then goes on to tell me he can’t offer me a similar appointment on grounds of me cancelling today. The fact that I was on time previously and had booked in advance was completely disregarded. At this point I told him I need to speak with someone else or their manager. He kept insisting that I’ll have to take an appointment during the weekdays which I absolutely can’t make. He had gotten very rude by this time. He’s a manager and the CEO and the owner. So it’s all a one man show where no one is holding this person accountable for how he treats their clients. The conversation got heated and we were hung up on multiple times. By this time you’d have an idea of what standards this owner-manager operates their organization on. We visited the branch to speak with him in person. He called the police complaining he has a disgruntled customer who’s shouting at the reception and disturbing his clients. Baring you the details of what ensued after that (checking the responses by the owner here I have no doubt he’ll detail them instead) we were refunded the amount with one service charge deducted from it as a resolution. My review is not about their actual service (which is the laser treatment) but rather the behavior of the head of this organization. Personally I do not mind paying more to a different clinic where I know customer requests are taken into consideration. I’m afraid Mr. Alfrin does not uphold the standards he himself has set in his mind about empathy. Had he been even a little empathetic towards my request he wouldn’t lose out on a potentially loyal customer and the referrals I would be sending his way. However, knowing him from the interaction I’ve had it is no secret he won’t be bothered by that. Whether you decide to take their services after reading this review is your decision but I wouldn’t have confidence in an organization led by someone with similar principles.
