Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dr. Joy Dental Clinic: Unfortunately, my recent experience with Dr. Joy Dental Clinic was far from what I expected from a professional medical establishment — especially given that I’ve been suffering from severe dental pain and anxiety for weeks, starting from the middle of Ramadan. I visited the clinic previously but was unable to proceed with treatment due to extreme pain and my dental anxiety, which was not taken seriously. I later attempted to undergo the procedure under general anesthesia elsewhere, but my insurance declined coverage. So, I came back and booked a dual appointment for next Monday — one with the treating doctor and one with the gas sedation doctor — and this was clearly confirmed via WhatsApp. Today, I woke up with a severely swollen face and couldn’t bear the pain. I reached out to the clinic urgently and was told I could come in at 12:30 PM. I asked again about the gas sedation doctor and was told he would be available. However, when I arrived, the doctor was indeed in the clinic, but was already seeing another patient — and no one informed me of that detail beforehand. I had left work and came in urgent pain, expecting the appointment to be ready as discussed. There was no proper communication, no clear explanation, and no apology. This level of disorganization and lack of transparency is simply unacceptable, especially in a medical setting where patient wellbeing — both physical and emotional — should be the top priority. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their coordination, communication, and patient consideration. What happened today has unfortunately shaken my trust in the clinic.
