3 weeks agoI cut my hair about a week ago. I asked for a shoulder length, soft layered Japanese style cut. But as you can see in the photo, it turned out nothing like what I asked for. The photos of me in the purple shirt were taken just 5 minutes after leaving the salon. Even with the fresh styling, it didn’t look anything like the references I showed. Instead of soft layers, the hairdresser gave me high layers that created a sharp, choppy look, which made my already thin hair look even flatter. Without styling, it looks even messier. I was really upset after the haircut. I told her it doesn’t look like the photos, but she insisted it was the same. I didn’t want to push it further since it was already done. But, please, if you're not confident in doing a certain style, or you’re unsure, please be honest and communicate with your customer. Don’t just go ahead and cut without checking. Now I have to wait at least a month or two for my hair to grow out a bit so I can fix this. And honestly, the whole experience felt cold. None of the staff were friendly, no one smiled or even greeted me. Communication was minimal. I really tried to stay polite and smile most of the time, even though I was uncomfortable. Just really disappointed overall.

a month agoThe team at Freya was very friendly, but the result was disappointing. I asked for a glossing to turn my blonde tips into a soft ‘bronde’ for a smooth transition to my natural root color. Instead, my hair turned very dark with a green-grayish shine – no soft transition. Darker would have been fine, but the shade I left with was simply not flattering.
