a month agoI recently inquired at AIG Clinic about ultrasound-guided lip filler dissolving. I was initially quoted: • 350 AED consultation fee (deducted from treatment if done) • Lip dissolving starting at 700 AED, and “never more than 1000 AED” depending on how much would be dissolved. This was under the impression that the message was understood that I am not looking for regular filler dissolving, but one using an ultrasound machine. During the actual treatment, I only needed a few small injections to my upper lip (two or three pin pricks at most). However, when I went to pay, I was told the cost was 1150 AED. The reason given was an additional 350 AED fee for use of the ultrasound, which had not been mentioned beforehand. After back and forth, they agreed to charging me 800AED. I later asked if I could have a copy of the ultrasound (I had to ask 3 times over 7 days with a continuous “we’ll get back to you”) and finally was told it could not be released unless I paid the extra 350 AED. For anyone considering treatments at this clinic, I would recommend confirming a detailed breakdown of all fees beforehand, as the lack of a clear price list left me feeling misled. Personally, I would not return based on my experience.
