I visited Al Moosa Health yesterday for an Emsculpt session. The therapist who performed my treatment was fantastic — professional, welcoming, and genuinely excellent. Unfortunately, the reception experience was the complete opposite. When I arrived, the reception team did greet me, but the greeting felt cold, unbothered, and without even a smile. There was no warmth or customer engagement, and it immediately set the wrong tone for the visit. "Hello, Emirates id please" like a robot... Even the way I was directed upstairs felt abrupt and dismissive, almost as if I was being waved away without any proper explanation. The real issue began when it was time to pay. I had been quoted 500 AED for the treatment. At reception, I was suddenly told that VAT would be added, even though this was never mentioned beforehand. Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 (VAT Law) and Cabinet Decision No. 52 of 2017 (Executive Regulations), prices for services must be displayed inclusive of VAT unless clearly stated otherwise in advance. The price quoted to me did not include any such clarification. When I calmly pointed this out, the receptionist became defensive and visibly irritated. Then another receptionist joined in, followed by a third staff member. Instead of a simple conversation with one person, it felt like I was being spoken over by several people at once, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The main receptionist then made remarks in Arabic to her colleague in a dismissive tone, further adding to the negative experience. The lady was trying to convince me to take the package and i refused, she kept insisting....i had to be persistant and decline AGAIN.... I had originally planned to purchase two treatment packages on my next visit, but after this situation, I decided not to move forward. I travelled almost an hour to reach the clinic, and while the treatment itself was excellent, the reception experience completely overshadowed it. I genuinely hope management addresses this, because the therapist was outstanding — but the front-desk service needs urgent improvement, especially regarding professionalism, customer interaction, and compliance with UAE pricing regulations.

Many thanks to Dr. Nasser, with his golden touch and cheerful face, and also to his talented assistant Abeer and the lovely receptionist Jumana. I highly recommend visiting this amazing clinic with its exceptional staff and skilled doctor.
