Faina Ladies Salon ( RUSSIAN SALON )

I’m very disappointed with my recent visit to this salon. Shortly after getting my nails done here, I developed a concerning nail issue that I have never experienced before. My doctor informed me it may be related to improper sanitation or unclean tools, which is extremely upsetting. I wish I could share photos During my appointment, I noticed the technician did not seem to disinfect tools or the work area properly, and the overall hygiene standards felt questionable. For a service that should prioritize cleanliness, this was unacceptable. I’m sharing this so others can be aware and so the salon hopefully improves its sanitation practices. I will not be returning.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the receptionist at your salon. When I arrived, I was very emotional and going through a difficult moment. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. Her warmth helped me calm down and feel positive again. Thank you for having such a compassionate and professional person on your team. I booked an appointment today, and even though it was a bit late, the salon confirmed that I could still come in — so I really appreciated that at first. However, what happened next was honestly the worst salon experience I’ve ever had. I went for an overlay, and while the technician was drilling to remove my old set, she burned me multiple times. I told her I was in pain, and her response was, “Yeah, I have to do this.” She completely ignored my discomfort and just kept going. Then, while cutting my cuticles, she cut me multiple times, and I was bleeding from several fingers. I politely asked her to sanitize the cuts or apply alcohol to avoid infection, but again — she ignored me and continued the service as if nothing happened. When it came time to apply the color, I chose red, but after she finished, the color started to fade and turn lighter, which has never happened to me before. When I asked about it, she just said, “That’s not a problem, choose another color,” in a very rude tone. She sat back, looked at me with attitude, and clearly didn’t care. Another technician then came to “fix” it but was rushing like crazy, clearly trying to finish fast so they could leave. When I asked her to slow down to make sure the color looked good, she just replied “huh” and continued rushing. I was a loyal customer at this salon and always did my nails with Maya, who was amazing — kind, careful, and professional. She always made sure I was comfortable, disinfected any small cuts right away, and truly cared about her clients. But today’s experience was completely the opposite — painful, careless, and disrespectful.

I recently had my balayage done by Sami and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She has such a great eye for color and blended everything so beautifully! It looks natural, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for. Sami was warm, professional, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. On top of that, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made the visit even better. I’ve already received so many compliments on my hair! Highly recommend Sami and the whole team. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you again!
